Workshops, Teach-ins, and Art Rooms

TAC can support schools, libraries, museums, blindness organizations, conferences, and local communities that want tactile art instruction led by people who understand blind and low-vision learning from the inside.

Online Workshops

Introducing free online tactile art workshops hosted by the TAC! Every month, Core Instructors will run these sessions focusing on different tactile art creation skillsets. The workshops will cover content taught in the in-person Art Rooms and Teach-Ins, demonstrate ways of combining tactile art methods to produce new skills, and bring people of all skill levels together in a creative space for sharing, conversation, and horrible puns, as per tradition.

Let's get emotional! - Sep 26, 2026, 2pm Eastern

Join the Tactile Art Collective for a free virtual community event all about using drawing as an emotional outlet. Whether you would like to de-stress or take a break from life's obligations, or channel your inner joy onto the page for all to see and feel, there is something to be had for everyone in this community zoom event.

You need not have attended a Tactile Art Collective event in the past to join, and artists of all skill and experience levels including first-time artists are welcome. All you need is a ballpoint pen, a piece of paper, a Sensational Blackboard or cilicone surface to draw on, and your feelings big or small
